Adorez Adonai Dance Team was organized in August of 2009 by six ballerinas from Ballet Winchester. The word “Adorez”(pronounced uh-door-ay) is the verb for adore in French. Adonai means God in Hebrew. This dance team wants to adore God through their dancing. All six of the girls have been dancing ballet and a few other types of dance from clogging to hip/hop for many years. They all love the Lord with their whole hearts; every single one of them adores their Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ, and they try to portray that adoration and infatuation through their dancing. They don’t dance for human appeal or for anyone on this earth, but for God alone. Their prayer is that when they dance before you, only Christ will be seen, only God will be glorified, and that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached to everyone who sees them. They hope that they will point you to Him, that they will inspire you to worship before His throne. The Adorez Adonai Dance Team would like to dance at churches, Christian organizations, and local events in order to reach out to to the community.
